Overview
Since 2004, tp-7 (Teenage Entrepreneurs - 7 Continents) has provided employment skills, busine$$ ownership skills and life skills training for teenagers/young adults
(~11 -25 years of age). Through our Lisa C. Scholarship Fund, tp-7 has awarded academic scholarships to students in Birmingham, AL; Marietta, GA; Jefferson County, AL; Auburn University; Lawson State Community College; Ft. Valley State University; Duke University and the University of West Florida. Teenagers/young adults (~ 11- 25 years of age) who participate in the tp-7 experience must complete a rigorous training regimen and they enjoy documented success that includes: 1. Creating a written, personal budget, 2. Tutoring to acquire and maintain a 3.0+ Grade Point Average (G.P.A), 3. Establishing and maintaining an active savings account, 4. Creating a professional resume and 5. Coaching, in preparation to secure paid and voluntary employment. tp-7 has made team visits to Gulf Shores, AL; Seattle, WA; Cozumel, Mexico and Vancouver, Canada (British Columbia). These North American excursions have allowed our teenage participants to gain insight into different cultures, currencies, artistic expressions, politics, languages and topographies. tp-7 humbly acknowledges that we are polished, poised and positioned to pass along a golden baton of knowledge to aspiring teenagers across the globe.
Training
To ascertain the success of our teenagers/young adults, tp-7 conducts regularly scheduled, affordably priced "Professional Skills and Job Search" Training (individual, classroom-style and teleconferencing).
